Service Description

A Commissioner of Oaths and Affidavit shall not certify a true copy of an original document. Commissioners do not require a seal. Commissioners of Oaths and Affidavits by virtue of office are; lawyers and paralegals licensed by the Law Society of Ontario. Their designation does not expire. A commissioner cannot witness, certify or attest to the execution of documents such as Wills and Powers of Attorney. Cannot attest to a certified true copy. A document that is to be used internationally cannot be commissioned, it must first be notarized and then authenticated if required by the recipient. Time slots fill up quickly.
